If needed, you can send data to santé24 and to doctors in encrypted form. SWICA cannot view this data.

All functions at a glance

SymptomCheck was developed by a panel of medical experts and provides support for further action in the event of illness or health problems. The user answers a series of questions about a particular medical problem. Based on their input, the user then receives a recommendation on how to proceed with regard to the specific medical problem they have described.

You can keep all of your health-related documents and information in your health dossier and, if required, send this to a doctor in a data protection-compliant manner. The dossier is available anytime and anywhere, including when travelling or abroad

With the "Send a photo" service, you can easily send images of skin findings, lab and doctor's reports, or other medical documents to santé24 in encrypted form. Photos are useful for various purposes such as making diagnoses or obtaining second medical opinions via santé24.

How to take photos with SWICA Benecura

This service tells you which precautionary check-ups are advisable for you, based on your personal medical history, age, sex and health-related risk factors. The results of the PreventionCheck can be sent to your GP directly from the app via encrypted email, and discussed at an appointment.

The «Ready for doctor» feature allows you to carry out the SymptomCheck at home and answer the most important questions. The doctor thus receives detailed information on the state of the patient's health in advance. The data is sent to the doctor by means of encrypted email.

Specialists: Find information about suitable doctors, hospitals, therapists and pharmacies and then call them directly. Your insurance model is taken into account when you search for a doctor.
Reminder function: Reminder function for taking medication or measuring your vital signs.
Important numbers: From the app, you can contact SWICA or sante24 directly or call your general practitioner, a health centre, and many public medical emergency numbers.
History: The user can always get a personal overview of the information and recommendations received and about how their medical condition is progressing.
Medication: The medication search gives you all the relevant information about medications
Dictionary: The specialised medical dictionary gives you an overview of a wide range of illnesses and explains them in detail.
SWICA offers: Here you will find a range of SWICA offers relating to your health.
Profile: This is where your personal details are stored. Your current basic insurance plan is also listed here and, depending on plan, your GP or medical centre.
