The SWICA Expert Finder brings together all existing directories of service providers in a single platform. You can use a collective search field to directly input treatments, services or healthcare institutions, and the system will then display matches from all of the relevant areas. This makes searching simpler and gives you a better overview.

New features in the hospital directory

Many new features have been introduced for hospital searches. The Expert Finder shows a pre-selection based on publicly available quality-related data for hospitals. This allows patients to independently make an informed decision about where they would like to receive treatment.

You can now also search using specific reasons for seeking treatment. The results can be filtered according to the relevant scope of insurance, including additional benefits.

Revised directory of doctors

The search function for doctors works with commonly used terms, which improves accessibility for people with no prior medical knowledge. Doctors can be filtered according to individual specialisations or combinations thereof, and you can see at a glance what practice they are affiliated with. You can also clearly see what insurance plans can be used at a particular practice, and supplementary guidance explains the relevant prerequisites.
