From cat-eye glasses or classic designer frames to contact lenses, with a supplementary insurance plan from SWICA you get to choose the best fit for your everyday needs.
Under Swiss law, SWICA basic insurance only covers part of the cost of visual aids for children.
Good to know: up to the age of 18, basic insurance pays a portion of the cost of glasses and contact lenses (up to 180 francs per year).
If you combine your Completa Top or Completa Forte plan with a Supplementa or Optima supplementary insurance plan, you’ll receive a further 90% reimbursement, up to 300 francs (Supplementa) or 600 francs (Optima). Again, you can submit an optician’s bill every three years.
