SWICA Favorit Start: The digital basic insurance model

With Favorit Start, you get an attractive discount on your premiums. In addition, your first point of contact is different: you use Benecura’s SymptomCheck any time you experience any health issues. You are required to follow the recommendation it gives you, which tells you what you should do next.  Otherwise, you enjoy the same benefits as under the Standard basic insurance model.

We have the right to exclude customers from Favorit Start insurance with effect from the end of a calendar month if they repeatedly breach the insurance conditions. This will automatically result in their cover being changed to the conventional Standard basic insurance model.

If you switch from the Standard basic insurance model to Favorit Start, SWICA will grant you a premium discount of up to 23%. The exact discount depends on your place of residence, your age and your chosen excess.

Here is an example illustrating the maximum possible premium discount with Favorit Start:

• Maximum premium discount: Adult aged 26 or over, lives in Beringen, excess: CHF 2500, with accident cover. Standard premium CHF 459.00 – with a 23% discount under the Favorit Start model: CHF 353.30 per month.

You can get attractive premium discounts with an alternative basic insurance model such as SWICA Favorit Start. You can cut your premium further by increasing your excess. SWICA also offers family discounts for children and young people along with other ways to optimise your premium.
