The digital future of Switzerland’s healthcare system

Switzerland has one of the best healthcare systems in the world. However, the digitalisation of the system is not very advanced. With the Digisanté programme, the Federal Council aims to create a fully networked, interoperable, and efficient digital healthcare system in which patient data is reliably protected at all times. Nevertheless, many people feel uncertain when it comes to digitalisation in healthcare. Fabian Ringwald (CIO at SWICA) and Matthias Bryner (CIO at Kinderspital Zürich) provide clarification.
