Hospita Flex explained
Hospita Flex Semi-Private and Hospita Flex Private hospitalisation insurance plans give you access to all public and private hospitals in Switzerland. You can choose between the general, semi-private or private hospital ward. If you choose the general ward, you don't pay anything. If you prefer semi-private or private treatment, you'll be charged a pre-agreed co-payment.
Our Benevita health coach app has multiple benefits. If you use it regularly, you benefit from a premium discount of up to 15%* on all semi-private and private hospital insurance models. And of course your health benefits from using it too.
If you opt for the Favorit Santé alternative basic insurance model, you'll save 15% on the premiums on your SWICA hospitalisation insurance (compared with the individual insurance premium). Under the Favorit Santé model, your first point of contact for all health-related questions is the Medbase Medical Center or the SWICA partner practices.

SWICA offers you a discount of 0.5% when you pay your hospitalisation insurance premium bill annually. This discount applies to all basic and supplementary insurance that you have taken out with SWICA. Please adjust your payment schedule directly in the mySWICA customer portal or contact us by phone: +41 58 800 99 33
SWICA is the only health insurer in Switzerland that offsets the co-payment on your basic insurance against the co-payment on your supplementary insurance plans. As a result, your maximum annual co-payment is significantly lower than at other health insurers.
Most health insurers raise their supplementary insurance premiums substantially every five years. This often results in a high financial burden in old age. By basing its rates on your age when you first buy your supplementary insurance, SWICA factors the time you have been insured into the premium calculation, rewarding you for your loyalty.
