There are various different challenges in the BENEVITA app. Select a topic from those available in the areas of nutrition, exercise and wellbeing, and develop a varied daily routine. When you successfully complete a challenge you'll be rewarded with points and community coins. Refer to the relevant section to find out more about community coins.

Quiz challenges
Read an article in one of the categories of exercise, nutrition or wellbeing. At the end of the challenge there's a question about what you've just read. This adds to your knowledge regarding various different health-related topics, and helps you to develop a healthier daily routine.
If you answer the question correctly, you'll be rewarded with points and community coins.
Video challenges
Video challenges also address topics in the areas of exercise, nutrition and wellbeing. You can for example watch an exercise, and integrate it into your everyday life. If you watch the video until the end you'll receive the corresponding points and community coins.
Add your own activities
Each day you can add your own entry in the areas of exercise, nutrition and wellbeing under "Activities". You'll receive additional points and community coins for these.
Earn points automatically
By activating tracking and/or linking a fitness tracker, you can track your steps and/or active minutes in order to earn points and community coins automatically.

For every activity you add, you'll receive 30 points and/or community coins.
Earn points automatically
The number of points you collect depends on the steps and/or active minutes you've accumulated.
- 1 point/community coin: 350 steps
- 1 point/community coin: 1 active minute
The higher number of points will be credited to you.
Points limit
With challenges, your own activities that you've entered, and points you've received automatically, you can collect a maximum of 200 points per week. There is no limit on community coins.
A full overview of how many points you have is available in the BENEVITA app in the «Account» section.
You'll receive points every week for your activities and the challenges you complete. You can redeem these for a discount on your premiums for the COMPLETA TOP/COMPLETA FORTE and/or HOSPITA supplementary insurance plans (excluding HOSPITA GENERAL) or for digital vouchers.
For Level 1 you need to collect 300 points.

After the redemption deadline (31 August) your points total and community coins are reset and you start collecting again from scratch.
In order to benefit from a discount on premiums in the following year, you must redeem your discount by 31 August in the BENEVITA app.
Anyone who has a smartphone and is interested in exercise, wellbeing and nutrition.
Minors insured with SWICA benefit automatically from the same BENEVITA discount level as the main contact person (usually a parent). This only applies if at least one parent is also insured with SWICA and uses the BENEVITA bonus programme.
Young people can continue taking advantage of the BENEVITA benefits via their main contact person for the whole of the calendar year in which they turn 18. From 1 January after their 18th birthday, young adults can no longer benefit from their parent's discount level.
To continue enjoying the benefits of the bonus programme, a young adult must register via the BENEVITA app in advance. Registration must be completed by the end of August in the calendar year in which they turn 18. Anyone affected will receive a letter from SWICA informing them about this in good time.
Young adults who have registered successfully for the BENEVITA bonus programme receive an introductory discount as standard in the first year, in the form of discount level 2. In order to maintain the discount level in future years (or even increase it), regular challenges must be completed to collect the right number of points.

No. BENEVITA is only available as an app which means you can only use it if you have a smartphone. There is no other way to use it.

You can track active minutes and steps. No other data is transmitted. The information stays exclusively in the app.
You can update the data manually in the tracker settings in the BENEVITA app.
Together with the BENEVITA community, you can donate community coins to charitable projects. When you successfully complete a challenge, you are rewarded not only with points but also with community coins. Once you have reached the weekly goal of 200 points, you then only collect community coins.

SWICA connects you to charitable projects in the BENEVITA app. You can redeem/donate your community coins to these projects as a member of the BENEVITA community.
You log in or register using your SWICA registration. If you're using another service such as mySWICA, you use the same details. Every insured person has his or her own personal access details.
No. You can use the app even if you don't have a SWICA account. Only customers with a SWICA account and the required supplementary insurance cover can redeem benefits though.

You can register using your SWICA account. On the registration page, use «Reset password» to reset your password and log in again.
SWICA does not process any data from the BENEVITA app, but is instead notified of the level after a benefit has been redeemed in order to determine the discount on premiums as well as the number of steps or active minutes in order to grant the corresponding points.
As long as you're logged in with your SWICA account, then nothing happens if you only delete the app. If, however, you delete your BENEVITA progress or your SWICA account, you will lose all of the points you have accumulated.
