This requires all of your skills, your broad medical expertise, and your curiosity and desire to break new ground. You’ll use state-of-the-art tools and digital communication channels. There are still some preconceptions surrounding telemedicine, and it’s time that we cleared them up. First of all, let’s get a couple of things straight: No, the service isn’t for selling insurance. And no, we don’t just forward phone calls.

You personally make sure that customers get the money that they’re entitled to in the event of illness. It’s not always as easy as it may seem, because some cases are quite complex. You’ll deal with customers, doctors, hospitals, other insurance providers, or, like your colleague Stefanie, with employers for cases involving daily allowance benefits.

Our core business includes securely handling the sensitive data of our 1.6 million customers, and assisting with the development of apps and other applications for customers and colleagues. IT is another area where the innovative SWICA groove and the desire to keep moving are clearly evident. Another bonus is that we do a lot of things ourselves, and you’ll play a part in determining our ICT path and system landscape.
