Organisation and leadership
SWICA takes a long-term approach to management and is committed to working in the best interests of its customers.
Any private individual who takes out insurance with SWICA automatically becomes a member of the SWICA Healthcare Organisation Association. Every three years, the members of this association elect their delegates, who meet annually at the Assembly of Delegates.
Their most important task is electing the members of the Executive Board, which in effect nominates these individuals for the Board of Directors of SWICA Holding AG. The Board of Directors determines the group’s strategy, monitors adherence to financial guidelines, and monitors corporate governance and compliance.
