Heida Village (Heidadorf) Visperterminen
Visperterminen is a tiny village in the Upper Valais, high above the town of Visp at an elevation of 1,378 metres. It boasts the highest vineyards in Europe, and is a paradise for summer and winter sports enthusiasts seeking unspoiled nature.
Visperterminen is known for its countless hiking paths. The chairlift brings you directly from the village to 2,000 metres above sea level, the ideal starting point for a short walk or a longer hike. You’ll be enchanted by an unspoiled landscape featuring crystal-clear mountain lakes, the “suonen” (historic irrigation channels), and breathtaking views. In summer, cattle and sheep are put out to graze in the meadows of the Nanztal Valley, and with a bit of luck you might even get to see the cheesemaker at work.
Special offer for people insured with SWICA
- Summer deal: 20% off chairlift rides
