Redeem digital vouchers
You can redeem the desired voucher in the Benevita app in the »Benefits» section using your points. Please note that the first reward discount must already have been redeemed for the vouchers to be unlocked. Details on redemption with the voucher partner can be found in the Benevita app by selecting the purchased voucher and opening the «Redemption instructions and conditions».
The website voucher.benevita.ch has been discontinued. All voucher partners are now available directly in the Benevita app.
If you still had a remaining balance on your Benevita voucher, it has been credited to your account. You can find the corresponding credit in the Benevita app under «Account» in the «Total» section. If you do not spend your refunded points by August 31, 2026, they will automatically be carried over to the new Benevita year.
Bonus programme
To earn points and community coins, you must successfully complete a challenge.
Quiz challenge
With the quiz challenge, you receive 15 points and 15 community coins if you correctly answer the question that tests your knowledge at the end of the challenge.
Video challenge
If you watch the video to the end, you'll receive 20 points and community coins.
Podcast challenge
If you have listened to the podcast until the end, you will receive 20 points and community coins.
Add your own activities
For every activity you add, you'll receive 20 points and/or community coins.
Earn points automatically
The number of points you collect depends on the steps and/or active minutes you've accumulated.
1 point/community coin: 350 steps
1 point/community coin: 1 active minute
The higher number of points will be credited to you.
Points limit
You can collect a maximum of 200 points per week with challenges, your own activities that you've entered, and points you've received automatically, There is no limit on community coins.
Terms and conditions
Minors automatically benefit from the same Benevita discount level as the main contact person (usually a parent). This only applies if at least one parent is also insured with SWICA and uses the Benevita bonus programme.
Young people can continue taking advantage of the Benevita benefits via the main contact person for the whole of the calendar year in which they turn 18. From 1 January after their 18th birthday, young adults can no longer benefit from their parent's discount level.
To continue enjoying the benefits of the bonus programme, a young adult must register via the Benevita app in advance. Registration must be completed by the end of August in the calendar year in which they turn 18. Those to whom this applies will receive a letter from SWICA informing them about this in good time.Young adults who have successfully registered for the Benevita bonus programme will receive discount level 2 as an introductory discount in their first year as standard. In order to maintain (or increase) this discount level in subsequent years, they will have to regularly complete challenges to earn sufficient points.
Earned points can be redeemed for discounts on premiums or for digital vouchers. Earned community coins can be used to make donations.
Customers who have basic insurance with SWICA can use the app but cannot take advantage of the Benevita benefits offered (discount on Completa Top/Completa Forte and/or Hospita supplementary insurance premiums or digital vouchers).
You can use Benevita regardless of whether you're participating in the bonus programme, and it is open to anyone who is interested (including individuals who are not SWICA customers). SWICA reserves the right to show certain content only to SWICA customers who also participate in the bonus programme.
No SWICA account is required to use Benevita without the bonus programme.
Earning points automatically
You can track active minutes and steps. No other data is transmitted. The information stays exclusively in the app.
Please note:
Connections to Health Connect do not allow the tracking of active minutes.
How to activate your tracker:
1. Open the Benevita app, go to the "Account" section and scroll down to the very bottom. Tap on "Connect and benefit" to initiate the link with your tracker.
2. Link your device by tapping "Connect tracker".
3. Choose your tracker (iOS: Apple Health, Android: Health Connect, Garmin, Polar or Fitbit) and follow the instructions.
4. With Garmin, Polar and Fitbit trackers, make sure that you log in to your personal tracker account and activate the authorisation for Benevita.
Please note the following information before establishing a connection with Health Connect:
Download the Health Connect app
Make sure that you have downloaded the Health Connect app onto your smartphone.
- You will have to download the app if you have Android version 13 or below.
- With Android version 14 or above, the app will already be installed on your smartphone.
Active minutes
Health Connect does not track active minutes with Benevita. If you track your active minutes, please activate tracking via your tracker watch (Garmin, Polar or Fitbit).
Instructions if Google Fit was previously connected
1. First of all, make sure that you have linked Health Connect to Google Fit or another tracker watch.
2. Open the Benevita app.
3. Open "Account" and scroll down to "Fitness trackers".
4. Click on “Switch now”.
5. Switch Google Fit to Health Connect and follow the instructions.
Instructions for new connections with Health Connect
1. First of all, make sure that you have linked Health Connect to Google Fit or another tracker watch.
2. Open the Benevita app.
3. Open "Account" and scroll down to "Fitness trackers".
4. Click on "Connect now".
5. Select "Health connect" and follow the instructions.
