Who receives a BestMed service card?
The BestMed service card is provided to insured members who have purchased hospital insurance with global private cover and compulsory basic health insurance with SWICA.
What is a BestMed service card for?
On your service card you will find the phone number of the health advice hotline sante24 and other important information. It serves as your insurance ID and as a mode of payment in pharmacies and drugstores.
What do I do if I lose my service card?
Report the loss as soon as possible to SWICA: Phone 0800 80 90 80.
To avoid misuse, the card will be blocked immediately and then replaced free of charge within three or four weeks. Replacement cards can also be ordered online: Order form
If you are planning a stay in an EU/EFTA country and cannot wait for the replacement card, SWICA will issue a replacement certificate immediately.
